China: Tropical storm Dolphin causes floodings

Typhoon Dolphin is the thirteenth typhoon to strike China this year, according to France 24. The storm swept through Japan's Okinawa and intensified monsoon rains in the Philippines. Scientists warn that a warming planet is making extreme weather events—particularly powerful typhoons—increasingly frequent and intense.
