Man gets jail for burgling homes on first Singapore visit after finding it ‘rich’

Channel NewsAsia reports a man has been sentenced to jail for burglarizing homes in Singapore's Sentosa and Serangoon neighborhoods. He stole more than one hundred thousand Singapore dollars—roughly seventy-eight thousand US dollars—in valuables during his first visit to the country. The burglar apparently targeted Singapore after finding it to be a wealthy nation.
