SpaceX intends to invest up to $100 billion in massive Louisiana spaceport

SpaceX plans to invest up to one hundred billion dollars to build Starship factories and launch pads in coastal Louisiana. According to Ars Technica, the company intends to create a self-sustaining spaceport featuring its own power generation, propellant production, and an airport. SpaceX president Gwynne Shotwell says the new facility will replicate the company's Texas-based Starbase on a larger scale.
