Operation Bluebird, a Virginia‑based startup, announced on Monday that it has launched a new social‑media platform called Twitter dot now, per Ars Technica. Co‑founder Stephen Coates told the outlet the company is small, has investors, and after months of waiting decided to launch without further delay. The team believes that when Elon Musk bought Twitter in twenty twenty-two and rebranded it as X, the original Twitter name and intellectual property were abandoned, creating an opening for their service.
