Authorities arrest 2 alleged members of prolific hacking group TeamPCP

Australian authorities have arrested two men accused of working for TeamPCP, a hacking group responsible for a massive wave of cyberattacks. Per Ars Technica, the group targeted software supply chains by infecting open source packages with malware that spread through development pipelines. The Australian Federal Police say the group compromised more than one thousand organizations worldwide since December, and the two suspects now face fourteen charges.
