Panorama Showcasing the 34-Meter Antennas of the DSN’s Goldstone Complex

NASA has officially added a new antenna to its Goldstone complex near Barstow, California. As NASA Science tells it, the thirty-four meter beam-waveguide antenna, known as Deep Space Station twenty-three, was celebrated with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on August twenty-fifth, twenty twenty-six. This addition is part of a larger project started in two thousand nine to expand the Deep Space Network, which allows the agency to track and communicate with spacecraft across the solar system.
