Russia targets Kyiv and its region for sixth consecutive night of attacks

At least nine people were killed and fourteen injured overnight as Russia struck Kyiv and the surrounding region for a sixth straight night, France 24 reports. A railway depot in Kyiv was hit, and Russia's defence ministry said it also struck infrastructure in the southern Odesa region. The renewed barrage is part of a broader intensification of strikes on Ukrainian cities in recent weeks, disrupting daily life and triggering as many as a dozen air-raid alerts a day.
