Historic Engines Take Their Place on Artemis III

Technicians at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida have begun installing four RS-twenty-five engines into the core stage of the Space Launch System rocket. As NASA News tells it, these specific engines previously powered multiple space shuttle missions, including flights for astronaut Randy Bresnik and Senator John Glenn. The rocket is slated to carry the Artemis Three crew into low Earth orbit in twenty twenty-seven.
