Anthropic has launched Claude Tag, a new Slack integration that lets teams delegate tasks directly to Claude by tagging @Claude in channels. Unlike a private chat, Claude works as a shared team member—everyone can see what it's doing, and Claude learns from ongoing conversations to provide better context. It works asynchronously, can proactively flag important information, and can even schedule tasks for itself over hours or days. At Anthropic, Claude Tag powers sixty-five percent of the product team's code. The feature is available today in beta for Enterprise and Team customers using Claude Opus four point eight, with plans to expand to other platforms. According to the announcement, it replaces the existing Claude Slack app.
