Reporters don't have access to Camp East Montana, one of the largest immigration detention centers in the country, but 911 calls from inside offer a rare window into what's happening there. The Texas Tribune and ProPublica report the recordings capture people locked inside pleading for emergency help, including one call about getting someone to a hospital. With journalists barred from the facility, these calls are becoming one of the only outside records of conditions inside.
