Exposure to forever chemicals through sea spray may be overblown

Researchers from York University found little evidence that sea spray contributes to the contamination of forever chemicals for coastal residents. Per Phys.org, the study focused on marine aerosols generated by breaking waves along the coast of Newfoundland and Labrador in the Atlantic Ocean. The findings surprised the researchers, as they suggest the risk of exposure in these windy regions may be lower than previously thought.
