Taiwanese national accused of people smuggling granted bail in Far North Qld

A Taiwanese national has been granted bail after being charged with people smuggling in Far North Queensland. According to ABC News Australia, the 34-year-old allegedly plotted to smuggle foreign nationals into the region by boat. He claims he was simply in the area to fish.
