According to The Guardian, the Bayeux tapestry has arrived at the British Museum for a historic exhibition launching this September. The nine-hundred-year-old medieval embroidery, which has survived cathedral fires and centuries of potential destruction, crossed the Channel in a specially designed shock-absorbing cage under carefully controlled conditions. Experts are now preparing this iconic artwork for public display in London.
